Navantia UK to unveil at DSEI its vision for enhancing sovereign defence capabilities following acquisition of Harland & Wolff

Navantia UK will use DSEI 2025 to outline the next steps in its strategy to support the UK’s sovereign defence capabilities following its acquisition of Harland & Wolff.
The group will demonstrate how its acquisition of Harland & Wolff supports the UK’s sovereign defence industrial base, catalysing major investment in shipbuilding, workforce development, engineering skills and advanced manufacturing.
As a key defence partner to the UK Government, Navantia UK is building the Royal Fleet Auxiliary’s three new Fleet Solid Support (FSS) vessels, vital platforms that will supply and sustain the Royal Navy Carrier Group around the world.
Underpinned by an initial £115 million modernisation and integration programme, the FSS contract is at the heart of Navantia UK’s industrial transformation and long-term commitment to deliver a “defence dividend” through UK based jobs, skills and sovereign capability.
