Methil

Navantia UK’s Methil facility is at the forefront of Scotland’s offshore renewables revolution.

Icono de Navantia en blanco

With a growing role in the fabrication of offshore wind components – including jackets, monopiles, substations and complex transition pieces – Methil is helping to drive the UK’s clean energy ambitions.

Following Navantia UK’s acquisition of Harland & Wolff’s facilities in early 2025, Methil is set to benefit from targeted investment to expand its fabrication capacity and enhance its industrial infrastructure. This development reinforces the site’s strategic importance in delivering large-scale energy infrastructure and supporting high-value manufacturing in Fife.

Methil’s work supports UK-wide goals for energy security, decarbonisation and industrial renewal, while also creating skilled employment in a key Scottish coastal economy.
